SMS Text Messaging in Industrial Automation

Klinkmann is the market leader in SMS message solutions for Industrial Automation. Klinkmann introduced its GSM-Control software already in 1998 – and since then the platform has be updated with new functions and the software has been installed over 10 000 times in various applications and regions.
The new version release is re-named as SMS-Control.
SMS-Control operates in 4G (and in 3G if available) cellular networks via the new fast Telit Cinterion 4G modem that is supplied in the package by Klinkmann.
SMS-Control supports SMS sending and receiving with any mobile devices, phones, modems and routers.
The modem opens a totally redundant 2-way communication channel for the connected systems incl. various HMI/SCADA platforms, PLCs and DCS-systems, including Siemens, Rockwell and Schneider. For AVEVA platforms, there is an AVEVA Application server object available.
